George Modler, organiser of the UK Padel Convention, said: “The convention is set to bring together more than 500 stakeholders from across the padel industry, including clubs, coaches, operators, investors, brands and media. Across the day, attendees will take part in live panels, experience showcase courts and connect with businesses and communities driving the sport forward. It is the first time the industry is set to come together under one roof.”
The convention has garnered support from all corners of the padel sector, with the LTA – padel’s governing body in Britain – supporting the event. Tom Murray, Head of Padel at the LTA, said: “Events like this provide a valuable platform to showcase the extensive work taking place behind the scenes to grow padel in Britain, and to continue building a collaborative and connected community around the sport.”
George added: “Having the governing body involved helps ensure the event reflects the realities and opportunities of padel in Britain and provides a platform for open discussion about how the sport can grow in a sustainable way.”
In addition, Playtomic and the Padel World Summit have been announced as key partners.
George said: “We’re thrilled to have Playtomic as a key partner. Its data insights, global reach and genuine investment in the sport’s development make it an ideal collaborator as we bring the UK padel community together under one roof.
“The Padel World Summit has set the standard for international collaboration within the sport, and this partnership helps bring that global perspective to the UK. Together, we want to create a connected and forward-looking padel ecosystem that benefits everyone involved,” said George.
“At the heart of the convention will be our Showcase Courts – the areas for live action throughout the day. Expect pro player sessions, brand activations, junior exhibitions and interactive play opportunities, bringing the sport to life for everyone in attendance. 🎾
