Internship Opportunity: Social Media & Sports Enthusiast 

We are excited to announce an internship opportunity at UK Padel, a leading padel brand, event organiser and community builder. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a passion for sports, particularly padel, and a keen interest in social media marketing. If you are ready to be a part of an exciting event and gain hands-on experience in the world of sports marketing, this opportunity is for you! 

Position: Social Media & Sports Marketing Intern 

Duration: 1 November 2023 – 31 December 2023 

Location: High Wycombe (Some remote work possible with compulsory onsite days) 

Responsibilities: 

As a Social Media & Sports Marketing Intern at UK Padel, you will be involved in the following activities: 

    • Content Creation & Scheduling: Develop and create engaging content for our social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook. 
    • Assist in scheduling and posting content leading up to and during the UK Padel County Champs event. 
    • Product Promotion: Assist in showcasing and promoting UK Padel branded kit and racquets through visually appealing content. 
    • Engage with the community to answer inquiries and provide product information. 
    • Local Media Outreach: Support in identifying and contacting local media outlets, journalists, and bloggers for event coverage and promotion. 
    • Event Week Support: Provide on-the-ground support during the UK Padel County Champs event, including live updates and influencer engagement. 
    • Post-Event Recap: Assist in creating post-event content, including recap videos and engaging social media posts highlighting event highlights and outcomes. 

Qualifications: 

  • Strong interest in sports, especially padel. 
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and social media tools. 
  • Excellent communication and writing skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Proactive, creative, and detail oriented.
